The original concept of this chair was to emulate the organic shape of falling orange peel. The shape of the finished chair is beautiful and the comfort surpasses the appearance. Most Back in Action staff have put this chair in their own living space, or they covet it.
Peel I and Peel II (as below) make a great matching pair: a superb "sofa"
Peel allows you to rock, recline or swivel without slipping forwards or back-wards, whatever your size. With a simple shift of your body weight you can move from position to position quite effortlessly.

Finishes - Woods / Fabrics
Natural Beech is the standard wood on all Varier products, all other wood options are avaliable at a premium.
The Peel is already a design classic and will last for generations. Chances are you will want to be discerning about fabric type, fabric texture, and wood colour: these will make a big difference to how the chair looks in your space, and will influence cleaning and price.
Most of our customers will have the chair made to order (takes about 4 to 6 weeks) but some can't wait that long!
We normally have stock of some stunning wood and fabric options, as shown below.
